Plus in Edinburgh has been open as a book shop since August
2008 and has over 10,000 second hand books gracing its shelves
covering a wide range of subjects. |
| Our shop has two
rooms; the front room is where you'll find our more collectable
and curious titles - our larger back room is where you'll
find a fantastic selection of fiction, children's books, cookery,
sports, theology, student text and reference books, health
and beauty titles etc,. There is also a 50p shelf that is
always stuffed with bargain books. The two rooms are connected
by a small hallway where we keep a selection of poetry and
literature. |

Any lover of fiction will enjoy our large selection of paperback
and hardback novels. In the rear room of our shop you'll find
a good choice of chick lit, science fiction, thriller, fantasy,
historical fiction, horror, crime and adventure - there is
also a glass-fronted bookcase dedicated to classic literature. |

The rear room of our shop has a large selection of children's
books ranging from toddler books to teenage fiction. To offer
you and your child a pleasant browsing experience we have
provided a sitting area where books may be read at ease. |
At the St John book shop we like to cater for the collector
of antiquarian titles, modern first editions, and signed books.
Although we cannot guarantee that such items will be regularly
donated to the shop we do proactively seek out these types
of books through a variety of avenues within the book trade.
