| Welcome to the St John Book Shop |
The St
John charity book shop in Stockbridge, Edinburgh has been
open for business since August 2008.
All proceeds from our sales are used to further the charitable
aims of The Priory of Scotland of the Most Venerable Order
of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem

| Charitable services
within Scotland include holiday and residential accommodation
for disabled, elderly, or infirm people; also provision of
bases and vehicles to mountain rescue teams and palliative
care facilities. Help is also given to St John activities
overseas including an eye hospital in Jerusalem and health
care in southern Africa. |
The St John book shop has approximately 10,000 books in stock
covering a wide range of subjects.
We have a large selection of adult fiction, an extensive choice
of childrens books, natural history, art, science, history,
poetry, text books for students, alternative beliefs, theology,
music, biographies, food and drink, gardening, and more.
We also have a large selection of VHS videos (50p each), sell
greetings cards, prints, maps, ephemera etc,. |
